The First Karate Style In History

For hundreds of years, karate has been a form of defense for many different people. Originating in China, the first known form was a blend of martial arts and other fighting styles. The first official karate style is actually three separate types which are all very similar to each other. Those were Shuri-te, Naha-te, and Tomari-te.
